STI rates in Australia are rising and the reason? People are being risky when they’re getting in bed. Drug and alcohol plus some psychological factors all come into play when the rising number is questioned.

 

Psychologist Danielle Muscat says that one aspect of risky behavior is sensation seeking. The thrill of doing what you shouldn’t is addictive.

 

But how does this have a way of impacting more than just the risk taker? The Den went out to find out.
