An online dating site ‘Are You Interested’ (AYI) released statistics last month on how much exercise plays a role in the search for love online.

 

With over 20 million unique visitors a month, it’s one of the largest online dating websites in the world.

 

More than 6 million interactions from their members were analysed to determine whether exercise really mattered when looking for love.

 

Unsurprisingly, those that workout are most desired online – up to a point. For men, response rates rounded off if they worked out more than two times per week. Singles want to meet those athletically inclined but not the gym-obsessed.
