Long distance dating relationships (LDDR) have commonly been labeled as a bad

idea by many who have tried it. However, researchers at Queen's University in

Ontario and the University of Utah have indicated that being in a long distance

relationship will not necessarily guarantee negative relationship outcomes.

 

Their results indicate that those in LDDRs are not at a disadvantage, and that

individual relationship characteristics predict relationship quality.
